How do I remove the espag handles from the window?: Removing espag handles is straightforward. Locate two screws: one under the handle lever and another under a cap at the base of the handle. Use a sharp implement to reveal the screw head under the cap if necessary. It is advised to keep the screws handy for replacement handles. Most of our handles are supplied with screws.
What do I need to know to order espagnolette handles?: To order the right espagnolette handles, check the spindle length, typically ranging from 10mm to 55mm. Most of our handles feature a 40mm spindle but check the technical data sheets for exact measurements. Additionally, ensure the screws are 43mm apart and the spindle is 7mm square.
How can I determine if my espag handles are right-handed or left-handed?: Right-handed handles open anti-clockwise, while left-handed ones open clockwise. We offer both options.
What is the difference between the straight inline espagnolette window handles and the cranked ones?: Inline handles can turn both ways, while cranked handles turn only in one direction and are handed.
What can I use to clean espag window handles?: Clean handles with a soft dry cloth. For deeper cleaning, use a mild solution of warm, soapy water on a soft cloth, and dry thoroughly. Avoid wire wool or scouring agents to prevent scratching or damaging the handles.
