ERA Hurricane 45mm Backset Hook Bolt French Door Lock Kit

The ERA (Hurricane) 45mm Backset Lock Kit with 2 Hook Multi Point lock for Composite/Timber doors is designed to operate using a Euro Profile Cylinder and compatible 92mm handle. Twin high-security steel hooks lock into steel keeps offering maximum resistance to forced entry, and the bi-directional throw of the hooks protects the door from being jemmied.

The easily reversible latch bolt and the non-handed design enables the lock to be used for left or right-handed doors that are inward or outward opening. The snib facility enables the latch bolt to be held in the retracted position giving the option to travel freely through the door without depressing the handle. The lock also incorporates a split spindle function for Lever Pad handle applications.

High-security shootbolts are included in the kit to add enhanced security, particularly when used on French door applications. The 45mm backset secured on a 16mm face bar makes this lock an ideal choice for composite/timber door applications.

Tested to the latest security and performance standards the 2 Hook lock meets the requirements of PAS 24:2012. The lock meets the requirements of BS EN 1670:2007 Grade 4 (240 hours) for Corrosion Resistance to provide the most robust finish, and to ensure smooth and consistent performance over time the lock is endurance tested in our test house to 50,000 cycles.

How quickly will my order arrive?

Our aim is to dispatch all orders placed before 12 noon on the same day.* Any orders placed after that time will be dispatched on the next available working day.

We will send you a notification email when your order has been dispatched. The time your order takes to arrive will depend on the delivery option you choose.

While we always try our best to dispatch every order following the above guidelines, during extremely busy periods dispatch times may increase by up to one day. In addition we will inform you at checkout if delivery may take a little longer due to high demand.

How can I track the status of my order?

You will receive an email to confirm we have received your order and that your payment has been accepted. You will also receive an email when your order has been dispatched.

What days will my order be delivered on?

Our couriers deliver between 07.00 and 18.00 Monday to Friday.

Will I need to sign for my order?

Depending on the size of your parcel and the courier we use, there may be a requirement to sign for your delivery.

Special delivery instructions

If you have any special instructions for delivery, such as leaving your parcel with a neighbour, please include them in the ‘special instructions’ section at the checkout. Please note that our couriers will not respond to notes left on doors for security reasons.

If we cannot deliver your order within the specified time period we will make every attempt to contact you and provide an expected delivery time. If this delivery time is not suitable, you can cancel your order and we will provide a full refund.

Collect in person

If you have selected collection for the delivery method, we will let you know when your order is ready to collect.

What do I do if my order arrives damaged?

If any item you receive from us arrives damaged, please contact us within 5 working days on 01752 651330 or by email at sales@sdhardware.co.uk. We will then advise you on the best course of action. In most cases we will ask you to return the item to us for an exchange or refund.

Unfortunately we cannot refund your postage costs when you return an item to us, unless it is faulty or damaged.

Please do not return a damaged order to us without contacting us first.

All orders are thoroughly checked before leaving our premises. On receipt of your order we request that you check the items as soon as possible. If you are unhappy with your order for any reason, please contact us on 01752 651330 or sales@sdharware.co.uk. Please have your order number to hand when you contact us as it will allow us to find your order quickly.

If you are unsatisfied with your order in any way, please return it to us within 14 days of delivery for a refund or exchange. The item must be unused, be in its original packaging and be suitable for re-sale. Items bought in the sale are non-returnable and non-refundable. Postage costs for returning items to us cannot be refunded, unless the item is faulty or damaged. We may at our sole discretion agree to take back the Returned Goods, provided that you arrange for such Returned Goods to be delivered to our premises as detailed at clause 6(a) and at your cost, and provided further that you pay for all costs and charges and fees incurred by us in re-stocking the Returned Goods.

Faulty, Damaged & Missing Goods

Please check your order before you sign for it from the courier. If the item is faulty or damaged in any way, please do not sign for it and the courier will return the item to us. We will then send a replacement item out as soon as possible.
